Targeted theatre in education

This one-off workshop can be adapted to suit any topic that you would like your group to explore. This session can be used cross-curricular and has worked very well with science, geography and history. With prior planning and preparation, it can be highly educational for both actors and audience.

Learning objectives

• Devise a piece of drama in the style of theatre in education (TIE), which is appropriate for a target audience
• Select and operate a range of simple theatre technologies to create the right space for their drama and to enhance their work
• Discuss the themes or issues in the drama and the way they were presented.
