This is a one-off workshop for developing characters built on the idea that everyone has a breaking point after which they are unable to keep it together. This is the point at which drama becomes really interesting to watch.
Learning objective
Working in collaborative groups, students will develop their characterisation skills through exploring situations involving a person reaching breaking point after struggling to cope with life’s pressures. They will also develop ways to deal with the breakdown of normal behaviour.
