The Time Machine

This scheme of work concentrates on drama activities around the theme of a time machine. It
explores the use of teacher in role, movement, expression, role-play, hot seating, thought tracking,
historical research, and knowledge of current issues and technologies to generate a future. The
overall objective is that students explore and share history through drama, explore and share ideas
about the future through drama, using collaborative drama skills. This scheme is built around the
KS3 Drama Objectives. I teach this scheme to Year 7.
