Preparing for exams


When talking with colleagues across the country I find that we are almost always in agreement that one defining feature of students of drama at KS5 is that they are usually more than capable of conversing with us and each other at length and in detail, using the language of drama appropriate for their level of experience and, in a large numbers of cases, beyond.

Most drama teachers will agree that verbal communication skills are extremely strong in this age group. However, what is not always developed is the ability to translate this verbal communication into the written word when compiling coursework and for more formal written examinations.
