For many ‘A’ level teachers, covering the set works in the Edexcel anthology can seem like a challenge. Can a set work ever be as inspiring to students as it was to those who heard it when it was first composed? Is it possible to bring some of the passion the composer might have felt for the music into their classroom? If so, how? This resource seeks to set out some creative approaches to teaching set works that should make the experience that little bit more enjoyable for students.
