Teaching Lighting: The basics

With the recent changes to GCSE and A-level drama courses, it’s possible that teachers may find more students becoming interested in lighting as an option for assessment in some components of the course. There’s no need to panic if you’re not an expert on lighting – a little useful knowledge is all you need to teach your students about the basics. It’s also useful for teachers to know a little themselves, should they need to do a basic design for a school production or exam piece.
