Hazards in the Home

This lesson is suitable as a one-off at KS3 or as an introduction to a topic suitable for development into a Theatre in Education piece at GCSE. Since the setting is the home, it is within the range of experience of all pupils. The topic links with English and PSHE. The object is to identify everyday hazards in the home, possible accidents and ways in which they can be avoided. In small groups, they will share ideas and explore ways of demonstrating the potential accidents through the medium of drama.
