George Sainton & Kaye Butterworth: Banks Of Green Willow - String Quartet Score  

This is one of the few works that Butterworth completed before his untimely death at the age of thirty - he was killed in action in World War One. The composition, like all his work, gives evidence of a distinct but restrained personality, imbued with a deep love of the English countryside.
