Communication and working with others

Working in schools, we come across many educational trends, fads, policies and initiatives designed to improve the education of the whole child. The current trend in this regard seems to be the teaching of virtue or character. This is a noble goal, even if it does present a potential workload challenge at a time when even the Secretary of State for Education is acknowledging that the teaching profession is putting in too many hours.
