Skellig by David Almond: a look at the book through drama

Skellig is a deep and moving book that touches on some challenging issues, presenting interesting possibilities for drama work from KS2 and beyond. This scheme of work picks up on some of the main themes within the book, and is largely suitable for upper KS2 students. The scheme uses games, role-play, movement exercises, improvisation and group discussion, and has been written with reference to the 2014 English National Curriculum.
